Tasmanian Catholic Education Agreement
The Catholic Education Board of Tasmania supports 37 schools and colleges throughout Tasmania and provides students of all backgrounds with quality education enriched by our Catholic faith. From urban centres to regional and remote and dedicated teachers and facilitators, Tasmania`s communities offer committed, supportive and affordable Catholic education. As the largest non-governmental education system in this state, Catholic education has much to celebrate and we invite you to explore the many curricula and the wide range of extracurricular activities in our schools. All employees of the Tasmanian Catholic Training have access to qualified consultants through the Confidential Employee Assistance Program. All non-educational employees and volunteers appointed to Catholic schools are required to participate in the police control process. Police checks are carried out every three years (maximum) or after modification of tasks. Tasmanian Catholic Education`s Unique Enterprise Agreement 2018 is an enterprise agreement that is currently submitted to the Fair Labour Commission for ratification. The relevant industrial instrument for most workers in Tasmania`s Catholic educational region is the unique learning agreements of Tasmanian Catholic. Tasmania Catholic Education implements a broad professional learning schedule, designed to provide teachers and auxiliaries with ongoing opportunities for continuing education and training. Our Continuum leadership targets specific development opportunities for young teachers to school leaders. We are looking for people who are passionate about what they do: whether they are based in one of our 38 schools and colleges or in one of our four administrative offices across the country.
